Our History

Welcome to the world of Pi Cards , a project born from passion , travel and a true collectors' story. We are a team of authentic TCG card enthusiasts and the Japanese universe of Pokémon , One Piece and Nintendo with a dream: to help on our scale the development of the TCG story in Switzerland and beyond.

The Genesis of the Project

Our story begins with Le Pi and David, two collectors but above all two brothers who have spent many years together and in the TCG universe , having also experienced losses and regrets. Le Pi, a big Pokémon fan, unfortunately saw his collection stolen when he was younger - an experience that left him with a few NBA cards and some leftover items ahaha those were the good old days we weren't too sad. As for David, he lost his own collection of Pokémon figurines and cards during a move, that's what traveling a lot means, a tragedy that he keeps a trace of, but which also fueled his passion for the world of TCG . What has become a funny memory is the idea that Le Pi's stolen cards may have ended up as filters for " laughing cigarettes "... a nod to the story of the thief that we know, but also a symbol of the resilience of collectors!

The Revival of the Collection

In 2021-2022, Le Pi rekindled his passion for Pokémon cards. In a short time, he found a collection worthy of the name and made a fresh start in the TCG universe. For his part, David, a " pirate at heart ", a great traveler and an absolute fan of One Piece , dove into the universe of this manga in 2015 and started collecting cards in 2023 , accumulating promo cards and rare figurines. Director of companies in other sectors, David first created a logo for Le Pi "Pikémon" - to help him professionalize and develop his project. Then he created the one for Pi Cards

The Pi's Slogan

Pi is more than just a nickname. Since he was a child, Julien has been known as " Le Pi " or " BLT " (for weasel). However, David wasn't really a fan of " BLT TCG ", finding the name too personal and lacking in character. So he tried to create a play on words around "Le Pi" and the Pokémon universe. "Pikémon" immediately rang true, and the logo created in Julien's unique style, which looks 99% like him, truly bridged the gap between the two worlds.

Pi is not just a nickname, but a real symbol " π ". By integrating " Pi ", the irrational number ( 3.14 ), David wanted to symbolize infinity and uniqueness , qualities that resonate with the soul of Pi Cards . This irrational number, present in many scientific and mathematical formulas, perfectly embodies the infinite passion and the relentless quest for rarity and perfection that guides Pi Cards in their collections and in the world of TCG . Pi is the motivator of the troops, a symbol of constancy and inspiration in our adventure .

Pi Cards: The Ethics of Purism and Passion

Pi Cards is still young on the TCG market, but we have a clear vision: to remain faithful to our ethics of passionate purists , by offering the community rare cards, exclusive promotions and Master Sets. And yes we are specialists in Master Sets of sought-after series such as Wizard , Neo Genesis , Team Rocket , Fossil , Jungle , Base Set 1st edition , 151 , op09 , op05 , op04 , op03 , op02 , op01 and more.
We make it a point to stay close to our roots while bringing new ideas and products to the market. That's why we focus on rare cards and Master sets from Japan for One Piece and mainly in French Pokemon cards.

Our Collectors Team

Julien , a key member of our team, owns several Pokémon master sets, and David has started building an impressive One Piece collection, while adding rare cards and promos directly from Japan. We have contacts all over the world , including a Pi Cards official living in Thailand , with direct connections to Japan and Canada through partner Jonathan (responsible for after-sales and shipping).
